activities, and meet with Ministry of Education officials, educational

Participants will learn about the successes and challenges of delivering
economic education in Latvia and Lithuania , countries undergoing dramatic
transition; inform their Latvian and Lithuanian counterparts on how
economic education is delivered in the United States ; and bring the
experience back home to their colleagues, students, community and family
members through formal presentations and informal discussions.

and having the opportunity to interact with their students,” Snedecor
said. After returning from the study tour, he will incorporate the
experience into his teaching of Advanced Placement Economics, conduct
workshops on transitional economies in conjunction with the New England
Chapter of NCEE, and give presentations to local civics groups, as well as
to national conferences.

(CEEP), a federally funded program administered by the U.S. Department of
Education in coordination with the U.S. Department of State. The aim of
CEEP is to advance educational reform in economic education and civic
