Softball

NMH offers one of the most competitive athletic programs at the secondary school level and the softball program is no exception. NMH competes against the toughest possible opponents in WNEPSSA. With each individual contributing her best and the team focused on the values of excellence, teamwork, and character, we expect to compete for the league championship each and every year.

Early in the season, varsity players can expect to commit to training work over spring break. Last year, 16 players headed to the Disney Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., for a week to compete against teams from around the country.

We have one of the finest and most distinctive facilities in New England. Our all-dirt infield and well-groomed outfield sit behind a beautiful pine grove near the center of campus. As a result, we regularly draw good-sized crowds to take in the action. We are fortunate to have a batting cage adjacent to the field as well as an indoor batting cage we can access during the winter and on days when the weather is poor.
