Intern Positions
For college
students, recent graduates, and others interested in the field of education,
Northfield Mount Hermon offers several programs for administrative interns,
first-year teachers, Summer Session interns, and Upward Bound tutor-counselors.
Interns, first-year teachers, and tutor-counselors gain valuable training and
experience by working under the tutelage of a master teacher or administrator
and assuming more responsibility as their apprenticeship progresses. In
addition, they advise student groups, coach athletics, and participate fully in
the residential life of the school. For more information see the related program
summary.
Summer
Session: An academic program for grades 7-12.
Upward
Bound (summer): A federally funded initiative that prepares low- income and
first-generation students for success in high school and college.
