Northfield Mount Hermon is an independent, coeducational college preparatory school in western Massachusetts. NMH enrolls 630 boarding and 135 day students in grades 9 through 12 and postgraduate. Our innovative educational program, talented faculty, committed staff members, and world-class resources enable our students to learn better and grow more as people.
Northfield Mount Hermon seeks faculty applicants who are able to contribute to all aspects of the school community, as reflected by the typical faculty workload involving a combination of classroom teaching, student advising, coaching, and student house supervision.
Currently NMH employs approximately 130 teaching and administrative faculty positions and more than 210 staff positions. These positions are quite diverse and include opportunities ranging from entry level to upper management in the areas of accounting, admission, development, food service, information technology, maintenance, student services, and others. Many positions are year-round while some offer an academic-year schedule.
