Denison Wins Top Art Prize

Megan Denison '10 is the recipient of this year's Parents Council Art Award, the Visual Arts department announced on Tuesday.  The award was established in 2005 to honor a significant studio piece each year. Recipients are selected by way of a Visual Arts department vote. Those who receive the Parents Council Art Award have their prize-winning art professionally framed and permenantly installed on a wall in the Visual Arts area of the Rhodes Arts Center. You can also find the art of past winners along the first floor of Beveridge Hall.  Denison said that, following graduation, she plans to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and study architecture.
