Contest of the Week

In front of a great home crowd, the Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Loomis Chafee for the first time in Head Coach Nicole Hager's tenure.  NMH came into the game with three straight wins and looked to upset their higher ranked opponent.  Ruthann Zientek and Aleigh Holmquist Parker each had a big 1st half to give NMH a 29-21 lead at the break.  Willow Mann sparked the Hoggers in the 2nd half as her energy on the defensive end kept Loomis at bay.

Rashida Timbilla continued her excellent season with a near triple-double.  Her 22 points, 12 rebounds, 9 steals were all team highs for NMH.  Ruthann Zientek chipped in with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals.
