Foehl-Hemphill teaches mathematics at NMH and is the head coach of the varsity field hockey and golf teams. Mace has been the head coach of varsity field hockey since 1990; her team won the Class A Championship in 1995. Her golf team placed third in New Englands in 2009. She is the 2003 recipient of NMH’s Houson Coaching Award.

Foehl-Hemphill teaches mathematics at NMH and is the head coach of the varsity field hockey and golf teams. Mace has been the head coach of varsity field hockey since 1990; her team won the Class A Championship in 1995. Her golf team placed third in New Englands in 2009. She is the 2003 recipient of NMH’s Houson Coaching Award.
Foehl-Hemphill earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Williams College and was a member of the field hockey and squash teams. She competes in Massachusetts state amateur golf tournaments throughout the summer. She has won the Massachusetts Golf Association’s mother-daughter and mother-son tournaments with her children, and she has qualified for the state individual women’s tournament numerous times. She lives with her husband, Nate Hemphill, a college counselor and math teacher at NMH, and her son, who is a sophomore.
