Directions:
From Routes 63, 69, or Wilbur Cross Parkway / Route 15, Exit 59:
Amity Road / Route 63 and Litchfield Turnpike / Route 69 merge to form Whalley Avenue. From that intersection, head south for 3/4 mile, turning right at the traffic signal at Dayton Street / Route 122. Travel one block, proceed through the next traffic signal, and remain on 122 which is now called Forest Road. Travel 3/4 mile and look for Hopkins on the right immediately after the next traffic signal.
From Route 34 or Wilbur Cross Parkway / Route 15, Exit 57:
Take Derby Turnpike / Route 34 east for 2 1/2 miles, turning left at Forest Road / Route 122. Hopkins will be on the left after traveling about 1 mile.
From Route 91 or Route 95 North (New London):
Exit at the Oak Street Connector - Downtown / Route 34 (which is Exit #1 on I-91 and Exit #47 on I-95). Proceed to the end of the Connector and then exit straight ahead on to the parallel Frontage Road. Continue straight on Legion Avenue, all the while remaining on Route 34. At the end of Legion Avenue, turn right on Ella Grasso Boulevard, then left on Derby Avenue, thus remaining on Route 34. At the 3rd light, turn right on Forest Road; continue 1 mile to Hopkins entrance on left.
From Route 95 South (NYC):
Exit at Campbell Avenue / Route 122 (Exit #43). Turn left and continue on Route 122 for 2 miles (it will cross both the Post Road / Route 1 and Derby Turnpike / Route 34 and change its name to Forest Road). Hopkins School will be on the left.
PARKING:
It is best to come in the back entrance on Knollwood Drive and park in the designated admissions spaces at the far end of the parking lot. To get to the entrance from Forest Road, turn onto Edgewood Way (100' north of the main entrance; turn left if coming from Route 34, right if coming from Routes 63/69), and then take three lefts (Laurel Road, Knollwood Drive, then back entrance). The Admissions Office is in the brick building on the left. If you come in the front entrance, you can park in the visitor spaces in the Forest Road lot and walk through the campus to the Admissions Office.
