The road will come to a T; at this intersection turn right onto Back Westminster Road and follow this road for approximately 2 1/2 miles until its junction with Rte. 121. Turn left onto Route 121 and proceed approximately 3 miles to the village of Saxtons River. In the village, you will see a sign for Vermont Academy on the right. Take the next right onto Pleasant Street and then the first left onto Burk Hill St., which leads into Vermont Academy's main entrance. Proceed up the hill onto the campus, bear right between Jones building (on your left) and the headmaster's residence (on your right). You may park in the designated spaces on your left just past the dorm.

The Admissions Office is the small cobblestone cottage close by the parking area and visible between the first two red brick buildings as you enter the campus.

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) west to Exit 4. Follow I-91 north to Exit 17B, then take Route 141 west four miles to Easthampton. At the first traffic light, go straight ahead onto Payson Avenue and proceed 200 yards to the campus. At the end of Payson Avenue, take a left onto Park Street, then your second left onto the campus quad. (Follow the horseshoe drive to the opposite side, and the Office of Admission is in the Homestead on your right.)

From Connecticut and New York City:
Take I-684 and I-84 (or I-95) to I-91 north. At Exit 17B, take Route 141 west four miles to Easthampton. At the first traffic light, go straight ahead onto Payson Avenue and proceed 200 yards to the campus. (Follow directions above to the Office of Admission.)

From the West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) east to Exit 3. Follow Route 10 north 10 miles to Easthampton. Turn right on Brewster Avenue (which is immediately after Fleury Lumber on the left), go to the bottom of the hill, and turn left onto Park Street. The entrance to the campus is 50 yards on your right.

From the Northwest:
Take Route 9 east to Northampton. From Northampton, take Route 10 south 5 miles to downtown Easthampton. Go straight through the traffic light and bear left onto Park Street. Continue straight through a 4-way stop. The entrance to the campus is 150 yards on the left.

Take Exit 41. Turn right (east) onto Route 125. Continue on 125 East for about two miles.
Turn right onto Route 28 North. Proceed north about three miles to the Andover campus. (Note: Sections of Route 28 are closed for construction from 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday-Friday through October 2004. Follow Detour signs to return to Route 28 and the campus.)

1-93 (north) to 1-89 (north). 1-89 to exit 18 (Lebanon/Hanover - Dartmouth College). Left off the exit onto Route 120 S into Lebanon. Follow 120 part way around the Green, bearing right to continue south on Route 120 - 8 miles to Meriden. Turn right at the blinking light and proceed up the hill.

From the North:
1-89 (south) to exit 20. Turn right onto Route 12A. Follow 12A West Lebanon past the shopping district and up a hill. You will pass a gravel manufacturing company on the left and shortly after, see a sign for Kimball Union Academy (on the right), directing you to take a left on True’s Brook Road. Follow this road for about 8 miles where it turns into Main Street in Plainfield/Meriden. The Admissions building is the second building after the church on the left. It is a stone building with white pillars. Please park across the street in Visitor Parking

From New York City and points South:
(Approximately 2.5 hours from New York City to Loomis Chaffee)
Take exit 36 off I-91 north. Take a right onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east). Proceed to the end of 178 and take a left onto Route 159 north (Windsor Avenue). At the first traffic light take a right onto Batchelder Road, which is the entrance to the school. Follow signs for Office of Admission.

From Providence:

Take Route 6 to Route 295 north to Route 6 west to Route 395 south to Route 2 west. Then take I-91 north to exit 36. Take a right onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east).
