NMH Memorial Chapel

From Eastern Massachusetts
Follow Route 2 west to Route 63, then go north on Route 63 for approximately 8 miles to where Route 63 merges with Route 10, then turn left on Route 10 south. Drive 1.7 miles (you will cross over the Connecticut River) and the campus will be on the left.

From I-91
Take Exit 28 in Massachusetts and follow Route 10 north for 2.8 miles; the campus entrance is on the right.

From Boston:

Exit the airport and drive through the Ted Williams Tunnel. When exiting the tunnel, continue on I-90 West for approximately 10 miles to Exit 15, the third tollbooth from the airport. Take I-84 from Hartford and travel East to I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Follow the Mass Pike East for 10 miles to I-290 East (towards Worcester) to I-190 North (towards Fitchburg). From I-190 North take Route 2 West to Route 140 North (Exit 24B Winchendon/Ashburnham). Drive approximately three miles to Route 101 North. From Manchester, New Hampshire or areas North
Take a right out of the airport onto Brown Avenue. Following Brown Avenue you will pass an industrial park on your left and a McDonald's on your right. After driving under both overpasses, take an immediate left at the traffic light. Signs at this light will say left for Route 293 North and Route 101. Route 293 will split off to the right, but you will stay to the left and follow signs for Route 101. Take a left at the light onto Route 101 West. Follow 101 West approximately 16 miles until your reach Route 13 South. Follow Route 13 South for approximately 12 miles to Route 119 West. After approximately 10 miles, turn left onto Route 101 South. Cushing Academy will be on your right on Route 101 South just after you pass through the center of Ashburnham. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Academy Street. Welcome to Cushing Academy!

From Vermont, Route 91 or areas Northwest

From Londonderry VT / West
Follow Rte 11 east to Chester. Turn south on Rte 35 (by the True Value hardware store) and follow to Grafton. Turn right and then left in front of the Old Tavern. Follow Townshend Road 3/4 mile out to the ski area.

From Bellows Falls VT / East
Follow Rte 121 west through Saxtons River into Grafton. Turn left in front of the Old Tavern. Follow Townshend Road 3/4 mile out to the ski area.

From Brattleboro, VT / South
Follow Rte 30 north to Townshend. Turn north (right) on Rte 35 and follow signs to Grafton. Turn left toward Grafton at Y about 6 miles after turning onto Rte. 35. Ski area on right after another 6 miles.

From Springfield, VT / North
Follow Rte 11 to Chester. Follow directions from Chester above.

From NMH
Turn L onto 10 W into Bernardson. Turn R onto 91 N towards Brattleboro. Get off at exit 2 and follow 30 N to Townshend. Turn R on Rte 35 N and follow signs to Grafton. Turn L toward Grafton at Y about 6 miles down. Ski area is on R after another 6 miles.

From Londonderry VT / West

From Brattleboro, VT / South
Follow Rte 30 north to Townshend. Turn north (right) on Rte 35 and follow signs to Grafton. Turn left toward Grafton at Y about 6 miles after turning onto Rte. 35. Ski area on right after another 6 miles.

From Springfield, VT / North
Follow Rte 11 to Chester. Follow directions from Chester above.

From the East
Choice #1:  
Take Route 2 West via Concord off of Route 95 (Route 128), and continue on Route 2 West to Greenfield (approximately 95 miles).  At Greenfield, merge onto Interstate 91 South; and after 1 1/2 miles, take Exit 26.  Then follow the directions below From the West.

Choice #2:  
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) to the West Springfield and Interstate 91 Exit.  Take Interstate 91 North to Exit 24 for Deerfield and Conway. Take a right at the end of the off ramp, and go approximately five miles North on Route 5 & 10.  Shortly past Savage's Market, take your second right onto Pine Nook Road. There is a sign for Eaglebrook School. Proceed through the underpass and up the hill to Eaglebrook School – 1/2 mile on the right.

From the West 
Take Route 2 East to Greenfield. About 1/2 mile after you go under Interstate 91 (this is a rotary, bear right), you will come to a set of traffic lights with a Dunkin' Donuts Shop on your right.  Turn right at the lights onto River Street, and continue on this road until you reach a set of traffic lights.  Turn right onto Route 5 & 10 and continue South for approximately 3 1/2 miles.  Turn left onto Pine Nook Road.  There is a sign for Eaglebrook School.  Proceed through the underpass and up the hill to Eaglebrook School – 1/2 mile on the right.

From the North 
Take Interstate 91 South and proceed to Exit 26 for Greenfield Center and Route 2 West.  Then, follow the directions above From the West.

From the South 
Take Interstate 91 North and proceed to Massachusetts Exit #24.  Then, follow the directions above in From the East/Choice #2.

From Eastern Massachusetts
Follow Route 2 west to Route 63, then go north on Route 63 for approximately 8 miles to where Route 63 merges with Route 10, then turn left on Route 10 south. Drive 1.7 miles (you will cross over the Connecticut River) and the campus will be on the left.

From I-91
Take Exit 28 in Massachusetts and follow Route 10 north for 2.8 miles; the campus entrance is on the right.

Traveling North on Interstate 91:
About 10 miles north of Hartford, take exit 40. Go to the second exit, and take a right onto Route 75 North. Follow Route 75 for about 5 miles into Suffield. In the middle of town, after two consecutive traffic lights, you will see the school across the green on your left. The admissions offices are located in Fuller Hall, the middle of three large brick buildings easily visible from Main Street. The Academy's street address is 185 North Main Street.

Traveling South on Interstate 91:
In Springfield, Massachusetts, take exit 3. At the base of the exit ramp, bear to the right and follow signs for Route 5 North (Agawam/Southwick). You will immediately cross the Connecticut River; take the first exit at the end of the bridge. After pausing at the base of the ramp, go 3/4 the way around the rotary and bear right on to Route 57 (Agawam/Southwick). Take Route 57 for 2 miles and leave the highway at the Route 75 (Agawam/West Springfield) exit. At the traffic light, take a left on to Route 75 South. After traveling on Route 75 for 6.2 miles, you'll see Suffield Academy on your right across from the town green. The admissions offices are located in Fuller Hall, the middle of three large brick buildings easily visible from Main Street. The Academy's street address is 185 North Main Street.

From Eastern Massachusetts

Kingswood-Oxford is conveniently located five miles west of the I-91/I-84 interchange in Downtown Hartford.

From I-84, take exit 43 for Park Road/West Hartford Center. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Turn left immediately at the traffic light onto Trout Brook Drive. Follow Trout Brook Drive to Farmington Avenue. Turn right onto Farmington Avenue, then right again onto Outlook Avenue. The campus entrance is at the end of Outlook Avenue. Visitor Parking is located in front of the Nicholson Administration Building, which houses the Office of Admission.

From Boston:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) west to Exit 4. Follow I-91 north to Exit 17B, then take Route 141 west four miles to Easthampton. At the first traffic light, go straight ahead onto Payson Avenue and proceed 200 yards to the campus. At the end of Payson Avenue, take a left onto Park Street, then your second left onto the campus quad. (Follow the horseshoe drive to the opposite side, and the Office of Admission is in the Homestead on your right.)

From Connecticut and New York City:
Take I-684 and I-84 (or I-95) to I-91 north. At Exit 17B, take Route 141 west four miles to Easthampton. At the first traffic light, go straight ahead onto Payson Avenue and proceed 200 yards to the campus. (Follow directions above to the Office of Admission.)

From the West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) east to Exit 3. Follow Route 10 north 10 miles to Easthampton. Turn right on Brewster Avenue (which is immediately after Fleury Lumber on the left), go to the bottom of the hill, and turn left onto Park Street. The entrance to the campus is 50 yards on your right.

From the Northwest:
Take Route 9 east to Northampton. From Northampton, take Route 10 south 5 miles to downtown Easthampton. Go straight through the traffic light and bear left onto Park Street. Continue straight through a 4-way stop. The entrance to the campus is 150 yards on the left.

From Eastern Massachusetts

Take exit 15. Turn right onto Rt. 68. Turn left at third stoplight onto North Farms Road, which becomes North Elm Street. At Christian Street (5th stop sign) turn left for Admission, Athletic Center, and Paul Mellon Arts Center.

From the North and South: Wilbur Cross Parkway - Route 15:
Take exit 64. Turn right onto Quinnipiac St. Bear left at Wallace Park, cross over R.R.tracks. Go straight through light (Quinnipiac becomes Center St. at this intersection). Turn left at second light (at top of hill) onto North Main St.
Turn right at first stop sign onto Christian Street.

From the North via I-91:
Take Interstate 91 south to Exit 15. Turn right onto Route 68. Turn left at the third stop light onto North Farms Road which becomes North Elm Street. Turn left onto Christian Street at first four-corner stop.

From the North via Wilbur Cross - Merritt Parkway - Route 15:
Take Exit 66. Turn left onto Route 5, go under the overpass. At the fourth light turn left and then left again onto Route 68. Take the next right at North Main Street. At the third stop sign, turn left onto Christian Street at first four corner-stop.

From the South, via Wilbur Cross - Merritt Parkway - Route 15:
Exit 64. Turn right onto Quinnipiac Street. Bear left at the fork, cross over the railroad tracks. Go straight through the traffic light (Quinnipiac becomes Center Street at this intersection). Turn left at the second light onto North Main Street at the top of the hill. Turn right onto Christian Street.

From the West, via Interstate 84:
Exit 26 (Cheshire). Follow Route 70 through Cheshire onto Route 68. Turn right at North Main Street in Wallingford. At the third stop sign turn left onto Christian Street at first four corner stop.

Take exit 36 off I-91 north. Take a right onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east). Proceed to the end of 178 and take a left onto Route 159 north (Windsor Avenue). At the first traffic light take a right onto Batchelder Road, which is the entrance to the school. Follow signs for Office of Admission.

From Providence:
(Approximately 1.5 hours to Loomis Chaffee):
Take Route 6 to Route 295 north to Route 6 west to Route 395 south to Route 2 west. Then take I-91 north to exit 36. Take a right onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east). Proceed to the end of 178 and take a left onto Route 159 north (Windsor Avenue). At the first traffic light take a right onto Batchelder Road, which is the entrance to the school. Follow signs for Office of Admission.

From Eastern Massachusetts
Follow Route 2 west to Route 63, then go north on Route 63 for approximately 8 miles to where Route 63 merges with Route 10, then turn left on Route 10 south. Drive 1.7 miles (you will cross over the Connecticut River) and the campus will be on the left.

From I-91
Take Exit 28 in Massachusetts and follow Route 10 north for 2.8 miles; the campus entrance is on the right.

From Vermont, Route 91 or areas Northwest
Take Route 2 East to Route 140 North (Exit 24 Westminster/Winchendon), turning left at the end of the exit ramp. Drive approximately three miles to Route 101 North. Turn right onto Route 101 and follow it approximately four miles to the Academy. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Academy Street. Welcome to Cushing Academy!

From Boston and Logan International Airport
Exit the airport and drive through the Ted Williams Tunnel. When exiting the tunnel, continue on I-90 West for approximately 10 miles to Exit 15, the third tollbooth from the airport. Stay to the right. Take I-95 North for approximately 6.3 miles to Exit 29B. Turn right on to Route 2 West for approximately 39 miles to Route 140 North (Exit 24B Winchendon/Ashburnham). Drive approximately three miles to Route 101 North. Turn right onto Route 101 and follow it approximately four miles to the Academy. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Academy Street. Welcome to Cushing Academy!

From Hartford, New York or areas South
Take I-84 from Hartford and travel East to I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Follow the Mass Pike East for 10 miles to I-290 East (towards Worcester) to I-190 North (towards Fitchburg). From I-190 North take Route 2 West to Route 140 North (Exit 24B Winchendon/Ashburnham). Drive approximately three miles to Route 101 North. Turn right onto Route 101 and follow it approximately four miles to the Academy. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Academy Street. Welcome to Cushing Academy!

From Manchester, New Hampshire or areas North
Take a right out of the airport onto Brown Avenue. Following Brown Avenue you will pass an industrial park on your left and a McDonald's on your right. After driving under both overpasses, take an immediate left at the traffic light. Signs at this light will say left for Route 293 North and Route 101. Route 293 will split off to the right, but you will stay to the left and follow signs for Route 101. Take a left at the light onto Route 101 West. Follow 101 West approximately 16 miles until your reach Route 13 South. Follow Route 13 South for approximately 12 miles to Route 119 West. After approximately 10 miles, turn left onto Route 101 South. Cushing Academy will be on your right on Route 101 South just after you pass through the center of Ashburnham. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Academy Street. Welcome to Cushing Academy!
