"Finding Inner Peace in a World of Conflict," a lecture by Allan Lokos, the author of Pocket Peace: Effective Practices for Enlightened Living, will take place Tuesday, March 2, from 6:45–8:00 pm in the Rhodes Room, Beveridge.
Allan Lokos is the founder/guiding teacher of the Community Meditation Center in New York City. His teachers have included Sharon Salzberg, Joseph Goldstein, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Stephen Batchelor. He was formerly a professional singer appearing in the original Broadway companies of Oliver! and Pickwick, among others.
