• The game plan was simple...win the boards and win the game. Unfortunately, Winchendon had the same plan and did a better job rebounding than NMH tonight. NMH was one shot and done while Winchendon took their shots and attacked the boards for second and third chances.

• The two teams battled for 31:00 as the game was tied at 63. Winchendon made the decisive run over the next 5:00 as they were able to get a 5 point lead. NMH would not get closer the rest of the way. Winchendon controlled the tempo and NMH was great in spurts, but couldn't get momentum on their side. Winchendon played a terrific game tonight and advanced to the finals against Brewster Academy on Sunday.

• Next up...NMH boys basketball will head North on Sunday to support the NMH boys hockey team as they play for the NEPSAC title!

• On Tuesday, NMH returns to action at the National Prep School Championship tournament. The top 8 teams in the country will battle for the National Championship. NMH is the #5 seed for the tourney and will open against the #4 seed and 2007 National Champions, Notre Dame Prep. All of the games take place at Albertus Magnus College. NMH hits the floor on Tuesday at 4:00. We hope to see you there!!
