Captains for Boys Track 2009
Greg Payton
I am a two-year junior from Williamstown, MA. I'm a sprinter and jumper. I have been running track for five years and have competed in many different events, both on the track and in the field. The 4x100 meter relay and the 200 meter sprint are my main events on the track and the high and long jumps are my main field events. The boys track team at NMH has a long tradition of success and I enjoy being a part of it. As a team we know how to work hard and push each other. NMH track is a great environment for athletes; there is plenty of enthusiasm and support from everybody including the coaches. Our boys and girls teams are both off to a great start and I am looking forward to a successful season.
Jason Green
I’m Jason L. Green, a four year senior from White Plains, NY, who currently resides in C-1 (London). I’ve been running track since my sophomore year and regret not joining the team as a freshman. I was initially attracted to track for training purposes. My main sport is football and I knew that track would be a great ways to improve my speed and endurance on the football field. However, track has been much more that a training program for me. It has served as a place where I have made great friends and teammates. Although we compete against each other the majority of the time, we all support each other. I’m very excited for track this year. We have a talented group of veterans and newcomers. Together, I know we have the potential to be New England Champions!
Jesse Dietrick
Hi I'm Jesse Dietrick and I am the long distance captain for the track and field team. I am a four year senior from Pittsburgh, PA, and have been on the team for three seasons. I joined the team because NMH has a great tradition in track and field and I felt a need to become a part of that. Over the past couple seasons we have had an extremely competitive program and even won the New England Track and Field Championship in 2007. Our expectations for this season are extremely high and I am looking forward to another great season and hopefully capturing a New England Championship.
