Baccalaureate Service

 

The Northfield Mount Hermon Baccalaureate Service was held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 7 pm in Memorial Chapel. Led by School Chaplain The Reverend Michael Corrigan, the service featured the NMH Concert Band, the NMH Baccalaureate Wind Ensemble, and the 2012Salutatorian Address, given by Bou Lee '12. Organist Sheila L. Heffernon performed the Class of 2012 Hymn, "Not in Vain the Distance Beacons" (text by Alfred Lord Tennyson; music by Ludwig van Beethoven). Meta Surjaputra '12, Eva Sachsse '12, and Parker Peltzer '12 led the congregation in singing the class hymn. A Moment of Silence speech was provided by Alexander Welbeck '12, and the service ended with renditions of "Jerusalem" and the Northfield Benediction.
