Captains for Girls Track 2008
Maggie Higby
I am a three year senior from Salem, New York. I run long distance in track, primarily the 1500 but also the 3000 and the 800. This is my sixth season of track and my third season at NMH. I love being a part of the NMH girls track team because we take pride in everything we do. Of all the teams at NMH we have the longest standing traditions, as well as one of the best records! I always look forward to coming to track practice every day and running with our fun group of girls and coaches. Next year I will be attending Kenyon College, where I will play soccer and continue running.

I'm a four year senior day student from Northfield, Ma. I have been doing track for five years now, four at NMH, and compete in the pole vault, shot put and discus. Track is always something I look forward to. Being a thrower and a pole vaulter, I get to meet a lot of different kinds of athletes. Practice is always full of laughs and at the same time, full of hard work. The girls on the team always come up with ideas on how to make practice something to look forward to after a long day, such as wearing a certain color to practice. Next year I plan on going to Quinnipiac University as a undecided business major.
