NMH Track : Boys Track

Captains for Boys Track 2008

Mark Fishman
I'm Mark Fishman, a three year junior from Southborough, MA and currently reside in Hayden Hall. This is my third year throwing shotput for the NMH track team and my first year throwing Discus. I was originally drawn to the track team through throwing captains Danton and Ablorde who helped teach me everything I know today about my events. The NMH Track experience has always been an exciting part of my NMH life because it requires a great amount of personal performance which can translate into a victory for the team. I'm very excited for this track season because we have a lot of great veterans as well as some new, young talent. I love teaching the younger track athletes our throwing events and hope to continue our great season with each member competing to his best ability.

Spencer Russell
I’m a four-year trackster from Chesterfield, NH. I compete in the 4x100m relay, 100m dash, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and triple jump. My favorite part of NMH track is winning; we win a lot, and that makes it fun. Next year, I plan to continue running at Amherst College.

Tim Liponis
I am a three year senior from Lenox, MA living in Shea Cottage. I have been on the track team for 3 years as well and compete in the 1500m, 3000m, and sometimes that 800m. I love the competitive tradition of NMH track and hope that NMH will continue to excel. Next year I will be attending St. Lawrence University and may continue to do track there.

Jim Montague
I am from Farmington, Maine, and this is my fourth year on the team. I am a middle distance runner and a triple jumper. During my four years I have tried most of the running events. I enjoy track because it allows each person to push themselves as hard as they want. At the end of the day you are the only one to responsible for your performance, but everyone is responsible for the team's performance. I am looking forward to my final track season at NMH. It will be sad to leave. Next year I will be attending the University of Vermont to study civil engineering and trying to walk onto the track team.
