Boys Soccer

The NMH Varsity soccer squad is a member of WNEPSSA (Western New England Prep School Soccer Association), which is one the strongest high school soccer leagues in New England. Winners of a pace setting five New England Class A Championships, 2006 being the most recent, NMH has a rich tradition of post-season play. Each season a significant number of our varsity athletes continue their careers at the collegiate level. From last year’s squad, NMH students moved on to play soccer at Columbia University, Boston College, Wheaton, and Providence. Members of recent teams have also gone on to play soccer at Harvard, Amherst, Brandeis, Skidmore, Northeastern, George Washington, Hobart, US Naval Academy, Vermont, University of Hartford, University of New Hampshire, and Wesleyan

The Hoggers have always been represented by young men from all parts of the world. Over the last ten years we have had players from Senegal, Japan, South Korea, Jamaica, Honduras, Albania, South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Netherlands, New Zealand, and various regions of the United States. Although the varsity team is dominated by upperclassmen, talented freshmen or sophomores have made the squad. The 2006 team had twelve players who previously played for our JV teams. This year, nine members came up through the “program” before joining the Varsity team. Click here for more information.

Girls Soccer

Northfield Mount Hermon offers one of the finest girls soccer programs in New England. We compete against tough opponents in NEPSAC (New England Prep School Athletic Conference) Class A soccer. In addition to our prep school opponents, we also play against college teams.

Through hard work and a firm commitment to team play, NMH soccer players learn valuable lessons for life that they take with them long after they leave the field. NMH is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship, while always striving for personal excellence through outstanding individual effort.

NMH alumnae have gone on to play at Division 1 programs with great success. Others have thrived at smaller Division 3 colleges. Click here for more.
