At NMH: A fierce competitor in the midfield, Mick has already made a mark at NMH and has been elected captain for the 2008 season. He is solid in all areas of his game, able to contribute offensively as a shooter and a dodger while also capable of outstanding individual defense.
Before NMH:In 2007, Mick started at midfield after taking 2006 off due to injury.
Personal:Mick was a member of the 2007 NMH football team as quarterback and safety after playing for the Hotchkiss varsity team for three years, serving his senior year as team captain. He also played two years of varsity squash at Hotchkiss and was named All-American and All-New England as a swimmer for Hotchkiss, holding a school record there. Mick has two siblings, a younger brother, Conor, and an older sister, Kara, who swims for Amherst College. Mick is the son of Robert and Barbara MacLaverty.
