At NMH:A new student to NMH, James will be assuming responsibilities over face-offs in addition to contributing to the midfield as on offensive threat. A true student of the game, James is able to contribute mightily to the offense in addition to defend and jump into the transition game.
Before NMH:Prior to coming to NMH, James was a five-year starter at midfield for the Williams School (CT) varsity team, having made the team as an eighth grader. In 2007, he scored 27 goals and added 22 assists for 49 points as he led his team to the New England Class C quarterfinals.
Personal: James also played hockey for NMH in the winter, earning the Coaches’ Award. He also played varsity soccer at the Williams School and junior hockey for the Norwich IceBreakers. James is the son of Dr. Kieran Geoghegan and Dr. Joanne Murray.
