NMH has a deep tradition of cross country running, and has fielded many successful teams and individuals over the years. The girls cross country program welcomes athletes of all abilities and levels of experience, with workouts tailored to accommodate each level. The Mount Hermon campus provides us with some of the toughest terrain in New England and many miles of trails and rural roads to explore. The team is a tight-knit group of runners who work hard together and have plenty of fun. We compete against a variety of schools including the toughest Division I teams in the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC). Alumnae have gone on to successful collegiate careers and national caliber post-collegiate competition. Many alumnae who return for the school's annual Pie Race credit our cross country for initiating their lifelong love of running.
