Spending three years at NMH was the most productive time of my life. I had the best of both worlds at my fingertips. I had the academic world to help me further myself toward college and beyond and I had the chance to do what I loved most, play basketball at the highest level . I was surrounded by people who cared dearly about my future. At NMH, I made connections with different types of people from all over the world. I was living in a environment that forced me to expand my horizon and look at the bigger picture. And with this new light, came a new focus with academics and basketball. I understood what was important to me, and I put everything else to the side. I am now a Division I student-athlete at the UMass Amherst. And I have NMH and NMH basketball to thank for my success.

The last three years have been some of the best of my life due to NMH and the relationships I made while there. I was not reaching my true potential, both academically and athletically, when I first arrived at NMH, but over three years of hard work I made huge strides in both areas. One would think that being a freshman at Dartmouth College would be hard, especially when trying to play Division 1 basketball at an IVY League school, but for me it is just like an ordinary day at NMH. I was already prepared for living away from home so I could hit the ground running, both academically and athletically, and that gave me an obvious leg up on my other classmates and teammates at Dartmouth. Thank you NMH and NMH basketball!!!!
