Kanem finished his career as Wesleyan's all-time scorer with 1,692 points. Also, holds the school record for career FG% with 58.5 percent. This year, Kanem averaged 22.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per contest. He shot 54.2 percent from the field.
Co-captain of 2003-04 squad, he was named NESCAC Player of the Week for Dec ember 1, 2003, January 12, and February 2, 2004. Named All-NESCAC first team for the second consecutive year.

Fred made the dean's list, earning no grade below B+; was 2004-2005 NCAA All-American in the long jump; was named 2005 New England track athlete of the year and was 2003-2004 NCAA All-American in the triple jump for winter and spring seasons.
Fred finished the indoor track and field season as the All-Division New England Champion in the triple jump. He finished sixth in the National Division III championships with a jump of 47' 4 1'2". Fred followed up in the spring with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump at the Division III Outdoor Championships.
