At NMH:After a one-year hiatus due to injury, Ryan has decided to take come to the baseball diamond.  Projected as our starting catcher, Ryan brings a strong presence to the team with his intensity and determination.  A bulldog behind the plate, we look forward to Roddy helping our pitching staff with his ability to receive and block balls in the dirt.
Before NMH:Ryan attended Amity High School, where he played football, wrestling, track, and baseball before he injured his arm.  As a part of the baseball team, Ryan was the starting catcher for back-to-back Connecticut State Championship teams.
Personal:A three-sport letter winner, Ryan was starting nose-guard for all eight football games.  As a wrestler, Ryan was an All-American (171 weight-class) for the New England Champion squad.  Next year he will attend Rutgers, Drexel, or Sacred Heart for Wrestling.
