Worth Noting:
At NMH:Kevin is our most fundamentally sound player.  Whether he is at the plate, in the field, or on the mound, Kevin is always thinking one step ahead and doing everything mechanically well.  Slated as one of our starting pitchers, Kevin has great control and mixes up his speeds very well.  At the plate, he will be a tough out for opposing pitchers all year.  He has the ability to hit for power to all parts of the field and has a great sense of the strike-zone.  When he isn’t pitching, Kevin will be our starting third-baseman.
Before NMH:Went to public school in Palo Alto, CA.  Mainly a football and baseball player, Kevin also wrestled for three years before he decided to focus strictly on baseball.  As a sophomore, he was apart of an undefeated football team and as a senior he went to the California State Championship Bowl game.  As a baseball player at Palo Alto, Kevin received First Team All-League three out of the four years and was MVP of his team senior year.
Personal:A two-sport athlete, Kevin was a starting safety in all eight games for the football team.  He also received Honorable Mention for the All-New England team.  Son of JoAnne and step-father, John Mitchell.  Has two older brothers, Brian and Adam, to go along with three step-brothers, Rashaad, Jamaal, and Jawaad.  Next year, Kevin will play football and baseball for Union College in New York.
