Dear Members of the Class of ’76,

It’s hard to believe that 30 years have passed since our time together at NMH! Time has flown by and we’ve all grown and changed, but a part of us will always remain on those lovely campuses, where we made deep friendships and lasting memories.

Remember how it felt to walk across campus early in the morning? Late nights in the dorms? Writing papers back before the days of computers? This June, step back into the past; relive old memories, and renew old relationships. Relax in the tranquil beauty of a special place, and see how the NMH of today is still emphasizing the education of the head, heart, and hand.

Our 30th reunion will be June 8–11, 2006. Mark it on your calendar now. Stop procrastinating, dust off the bifocals, and get in touch with old classmates. You know you’ve been meaning to, right? It’s easy to do and we can provide you with e-mail addresses and phone numbers. On campus there will be events for everyone and lots of time to reminisce and catch up with friends old and new. We’ll be based on Mount Hermon, but the Northfield campus will also be available to visit. As time marches on, this may well be the last reunion for us when faculty of our generation will still be on campus—we’ll get together with some of them, too.

Why not get in touch with friends now so you can see each other in June? You’ll be glad you did. If you’ve been back for other reunions, you know how much fun they can be. If you haven’t returned, come and find out what you’ve been missing. Until then, dig out that old yearbook and discover what happened to your old roommate, teammate, or fellow musician. 

To keep in touch with the latest developments, please return your alumni directory questionnaire and log on to the NMH Alumni Community (www.nmhschool.org) to add or update your e-mail address.  We’ll write with more information and details this winter and post occasional e-mail bulletins if we’ve got your address. If you’d like to help out, please let us know.

We hope you’ll choose to come back in June, and we look forward to seeing you then.
