I’ve already heard from a few of you regarding your plans to return to our 20th high school reunion, June 5-8 2008.  It’s exciting to think about seeing you all again. If you haven’t been to a reunion, you’ll find it’s a fantastic reason to wear neon; break out your hacky sack; or blast Run-DMC and Simple Minds out your window as you drive down the roads of Northfield and Gill. Also, it’s absolutely the best way to catch up with people and find out what they’re doing.

As for the details: We’ll be staying in Rikert.  It‘s a cozy dorm that will work great for us.  Usually, the 20th reunion class is the one with the most children and there is some playground equipment located next to the music building. Also, we will have a tent set up outside Rikert which will serve as our hospitality area.

Those of you who register late (and you know who you are) will be able to stay in our overflow housing on the second floor of Hayden.
Throughout Reunion Weekend, there will be various seminars, sports and recreation, and lots of time to hang out with old friends. There will be activities for the whole family. For instance, we’ll have a class of ’88 Kickball Game on Saturday afternoon. There are plenty of tennis courts and the Northfield Golf Course is available to us all weekend.  If you’ve returned for past reunions, you know how much fun the entire weekend can be.

I really hope you decide to come back.  It will be a great opportunity for you to see the many changes on the former Mount Hermon campus (now NMH) and to hear about the plans already underway that will further strengthen our school for years to come.
