One Alumna's Journey
In the summer of 2006, Carol Waaser ’63 spent seven weeks bicycling with a group from St. Petersburg, Russia, to Istanbul, Turkey. Her itinerary snaked through more than
2,500 miles of Eastern Europe, with almost 60,000 vertical feet of climbing.
A serious recreational cyclist for more than 10 years, Carol began training for the journey in the beginning of 2006, riding 130 to 150 miles per week. When she’s off her saddle, Carol is an executive at Actors’ Equity Association, the labor union for professional stage actors. She lives in New York and is an active NMH volunteer.
