Greetings 1958 Classmates!

Greetings from your Class of 1958’s Fiftieth Reunion Yearbook co-editors, Claire Kurtgis-Hunter and Don Braue.  We hope this letter finds you healthy and in “peaceful countenance.”

Over the past year, we two have been working diligently on our yearbook.  Realizing what we value most are the relationships forged in our student years, we hope to capture their essence in the yearbook. After the 50th reunion days have passed, our yearbook will remain, continuing the story of our relationships.

We would like our Fiftieth Reunion Yearbook to trace our relationships: how they were sparked, how they enriched our lives, and how they have continued to grow over the years. 

Together, we can collate our stories to create something of lasting value not only for ourselves but also for our families. However, to weave this tapestry, we need your help.

Ten of your other classmates have already volunteered to serve on our Yearbook Committee. We are thankful for the efforts of: Tom Chase, Laurie Shepard Coburn, Dave Eberhardt, Jane Hougen Fast, Barre Littel, Astrid Lundberg Naviaux, Helen Engelbrecht Ownby, John Quenell, Joan Millett Walker, and Walt Wheeler.  John Quenell is our Yearbook Treasurer.

This packet contains the following yearbook materials:

• An invitation to “Help find our lost classmates.”
• Yearbook questionnaire
• Sample yearbook entries from 1956 to show roughly how your entry will look.  Hopefully, they will demystify the process and be useful as a guide.
• A CD from the schools’ archives entitled “Class of 1958 - Images”.  This is a personal gift from Claire and Don.  We hope it will motivate you to add your story to our yearbook.  [Note that you can play the slide show using pause and timing buttons at the bottom of the screen or view the images on your own.  They are in the “Pictures” folder.]  We hope you enjoy the show!
