2007 Christmas Vespers

Northfield Mount Hermon School presents Christmas Vespers, a service traditional carols, scripture readings, and featured musical offerings. This year the NMH Singers, Concert Choir, and Select Women’s Ensemble will perform selection movements from Bach’s Missa in G Major, selected movements of Salvator Mundi by William Matthias, In Dulci Jubilo by Dietrich Buxtehunde, David Willcocks’ arrangement of “I Saw Three Ships” and “Wassail” arranged by John Rutter. A CD of the on-campus concert will be available in mid-February.

We invite you to stay out of the cold this year at a reception in Shea Family Cottage before each on-campus performance. Enjoy good company and warm cider before finding the best seat in Memorial Chapel. A festive holiday dinner will be served at Alumni Hall from 5–7 PM ($10/adult).

There is no admission fee for on-campus Vespers, but for planning purposes, we do request that you RSVP by clicking here.

A festive reception will immediately follow the performance.

Admission to off-campus Vespers is free for young alumni from the classes of 1998-2007, and $10/adult for alumni, family, and friends of NMH. Admission fees will be collected at the door.

NMH Christmas Vespers CD
