Northfield Mount Hermon Admission
Driving Directions
Northfield Mount Hermon is forty minutes from the
five-college area of Amherst and Northampton, Massachusetts,
two hours from Boston, and three and one-half hours from New
York City.
NMH is easily accessible from Interstate 91 and Route 2
(see regional map).
From Eastern Massachusetts
Follow Route 2 west to Route 63; go north on Route 63 for approximately 8 miles to where Route 63 merges with Route 10. Turn left on Route 10 south and drive 1.7 miles (you will cross over the Connecticut River). The Northfield Mount Hermon School entrance is on your left. Proceed up the drive. Bear left at the fork, following signs for the main campus. Make a right at the next fork, passing Crossley residence hall on your right. Stay straight through the next intersection, driving through campus until you reach Norton House on your right. Visitor parking is behind the house.
From Interstate 91
Take Exit 28A if you are traveling north, Exit 28 if you are traveling south, and follow Route 10 north for 2.8 miles. The Northfield Mount Hermon School entrance is on your right. Proceed up the drive. Bear left at the fork, following signs for the main campus. Make a right at the next fork, passing Crossley residence hall on your right. Stay straight through the next intersection, driving through campus until you reach Norton House on your right. Visitor parking is behind the house.
