Arriving in Shanghai Pudong International Airport we were welcomed by Jian Lao Shi, the director of Chinese Studies at Aura School, and went back to Dr. Sze’s house to drop off our bags and go out to dinner. The restaurant Dr. Sze took us to was very exotic and elaborately decorated with gold everywhere. When the food came it was by far the best Chinese food I had ever had. Course after course the food kept flooding the table and with every dish that came the food kept getting better and better. That night we stayed at Dr. Sze’s house and the next day we went around the city to do sight seeing, and shopping. We all practiced our bargaining skills at the outdoor marketplace in downtown Shanghai, and it was a lot of fun to see how low the prices could get.
