The Center for International Education (CIE) is pleased to announce the study abroad programs for the 2008-09 academic year.

Thank you to all who have shown an interest in these programs. These offerings are still subject to change and all programs are dependent on student interest and ability to fulfill application deadline requirements.

The following is the updated list of the study abroad programs for the 2008-09 school year. Click on the country to link to a full program description.

• Costa Rica, a three-week excursion with language and biology study and an emphasis on sustainability
• Ireland, a three-week trip to Dublin and around the isle devoted to reading and writing
• New Zealand, a six week program in which students delve into Maori culture, island history, as well as outdoor exploration
• South Africa, a two-week trip focusing on history, culture, and mathematics
• Turkey, 17 days of history and religious studies work at the crossroads of east and west
• Uruguay, six weeks of Spanish language, history, and culture immersion with environmental and service-learning projects
