First floor:
Reading Room – The fiction collection lines the walls of this spacious area. Comfortable seating, as well as long tables for spreading out school work.
Information Commons - Integrates Media Center Services and I.T. Support. This ever-evolving area includes Macintosh computer workstations, our movie collection, equipment for multimedia projects, and group collaboration stations.
Print and Copy Center - Photocopy machines and networked printers. We also keep on hand scissors, staplers, paper clips, 3-hole punchers, markers, and whatever tools you might need while working on a project.
New Non-fiction - Recent acquisitions are displayed. Titles added weekly.
McNaughton Collection - A revolving collection of books for leisure reading.
Reference Room - This space features an extensive print collection of reference books for use in the library, computers for searching online databases and accessing the virtual desktop, and a librarian on hand to assist with research.
The Classroom - Set up for instruction in research strategies and Library resources.
Circulation Desk - Student workers and librarians are ready and waiting to assist with checking out books, movies, or music, borrowing a laptop, calculator or textbooks for in library use, or providing help using the online catalog.
Lower level:
Nonfiction “stacks” - Most non-fiction books to borrow are located on the lower level.
Conly Children’s Room - Beanbag chairs, a child-friendly table, a few stuffed animals and low-shelves packed with children's books are highlights of this friendly space.
Silent Study Room – All silence, all the time! This room is dedicated to individual silent study. Computer stations and a networked printer provide access to the library’s virtual resources.
Group study grotto - Like to sit with friends while studying? Are you working on a project with your classmates? This is a great space for group work.
NMH School Archives - Collection of material documenting the history of the school and the life of its founder, D.L. Moody.
