Opening Convocation

Opening Convocation is the official opening of the new school year. Students dress up and faculty don their ceremonial robes as members of the senior class march together in recognition of their new status as school leaders. Students who have received notable academic honors are congratulated, as are faculty members who have earned recognition for outstanding performance. The entire community joins together to say goodbye to summer and welcome a year of endeavor both inside the classroom and out.
