Dean of Faculty

 Dean of Faculty Hugh Silbaugh is a teaching fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he is working toward his doctorate. He came to NMH in 2007 after serving as principal at Milton Academy and as assistant director at the Putney School. A longtime English teacher, Silbaugh has also been an ethics teacher, outdoor educator, coach and dorm-parent. His recent professional development includes the Visions workshop on diversity, as well as serving on self-study and accreditation committees.
