Interim Head of School
Interim Head of School Charles Tierney taught, coached crew, and served as dorm advisor at the Berkshire School and Choate Rosemary Hall. He worked as director of studies at St. Stephen’s School in Rome, Italy, before coming to NMH in 1998. Here he has been a school dean, associate dean of faculty and curriculum, ninth-grade dean, and academic dean. Tierney received an AB from Dartmouth in 1985 and an MA from Columbia while a Klingenstein Fellow.
