Drew Inzer graduated from Brown in 2001 with a degree in business economics, and then played two years of professional football before working briefly in business. After five years of teaching in Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine, Inzer comes to NMH to teach economics and AP economics, assist in the football and basketball programs, and serve as a dorm parent.
Sam Keator last served as dean of residential life, history teacher, and head coach for football and lacrosse at the Forman School in Connecticut. Keator received a bachelor’s in history from Gordon College in 1993 and a master’s in church history and theology from Regent College in Vancouver. He joins the NMH history department to teach U.S. history, and to assist in football and lacrosse.
Jessica Lindsey joins the communications office as writer and video production coordinator. She earned a bachelor’s in broadcast and cinematic arts from Central Michigan University and a master’s in creative writing from Dartmouth College.
Kate Moriarty is a 2009 graduate of Amherst College, where she majored in psychology. She joins the history department and will teach world history in the Hum II program in the second semester. Moriarty will be head coach for girls soccer, coordinate the recreational skiing program, and assist in track & field.
Kate Murdough is a member of the NMH class of 2006 and graduated from Smith College in May with a B.A. in biology. At Smith, Murdough captained the field hockey and lacrosse teams. She joins us as a science intern, teaching chemistry, helping out with lab preparation, and assisting in varsity field hockey, JV ice hockey, and JV lacrosse.
Janae Peters graduated in May from Kenyon with a bachelor’s degree in English, having earned the English department award and Kenyon’s top prize in 2010, the Anderson Cup. Peters joins NMH as an English intern and will assist in volleyball, basketball, and track.
Forest Reid earned a B.A. in astrophysics from Tufts in 1995 and a master’s in physics from Brown in 2001. Reid joins the math department, and will assist in the Nordic ski program, and advise the NMH math team.
Taylor Russell ’06 returns to NMH after graduating in May from Brown with a concentration in applied mathematics-economics. Russell joins NMH as a math intern. Having swum and played water polo at NMH, he will assist in those programs this year.
Craig Sandford comes to NMH as a music intern and piano accompanist. He earned a bachelor of music degree in composition from The Hartt School, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2006. Sandford has been a self-employed musician and recording artist, a photographer, and a dorm parent at the Fairwood Bible Institute in Dublin.
Lauren Scott earned a B.F.A. in painting from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2006 and an M.F.A. in painting from the University of Delaware in 2008. Scott has been an adjunct professor of art at Moore College of Art and Design and the County College of Morris. She will teach in the visual arts department and assist in the swimming program at NMH.
Teryl Scott graduated in 2007 from Andrews University with a degree in history and a minor in French. She is currently finishing a master’s in French from the University of Northern Iowa. At NMH, Scott will teach French, assist in swimming, and advise the French-speaking affinity group, FROMAGE.
Martha Seretta joins NMH after several years of working in the athletics department at Deerfield Academy. The parent of a 2010 graduate of NMH, Seretta knows the school well and joins the admissions office as an admissions counselor. She will also assist in the swim program.
Katie Simon comes to NMH as an English teacher after a successful teaching internship at Groton. Simon earned a B.A. in newspaper journalism from Syracuse in 2007 and an M.A. in English, with a concentration in American Literature, from St. Bonaventure University in 2009. A Division I runner at Syracuse, Simon will head the school’s cross-country program and assist in track & field.
Jennifer Sutton joins the communications office as writer and content editor. She is a graduate of Middlebury College and earned a master’s in journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication. Sutton was previously was assistant editor for Brown University’s alumni magazine and contributed to the website of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Hongqi (Hank) Wang is well known at the school, having come to NMH three years ago with his wife, Jing Liu, and son, Kevin Wang ’13. With bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Russian Language and Literature from universities in China, Hank has thirteen years of college teaching experience. He will teach Chinese, assist in the library and in the track & field program.
David Warren joins NMH as Associate Director of Advancement Services. With a B.S. in marketing from the University of Kansas, Warren has worked in marketing and research, most recently for Nielsen, where he was onsite analyst of consumer trends and product sales for Kraft Foods.
Sarah Warren just completed her M.Div. at Yale Divinity School, graduating summa cum laude. She also graduated summa cum laude from William Jewell College with a bachelor’s in the history of ideas and religion in 2007. As part of her graduate studies at Yale, she interned at the Epiphany School in Boston and the Taft School in Connecticut. Warren will teach religious studies at NMH and assist in girls thirds soccer and basketball.
