Here on the NMH campus, it has happened again.
You remember: the leaves drop to the ground, the wind picks up that familiar sharpness, and a steaming bowl of soup becomes a welcome addition at lunchtime. But before everyone burrows deeper into their scarves and pulls on their winter boots, let's recall for a moment the beginning of the school year.

Your spirit lived on in current students as a flurry of traditions revved up the campus again and again. Seniors and juniors banged drums, waved banners, and took their places for the Rope Pull for the 126th consecutive year. In the Hogolympics, dorms vied for superiority in such contests as cup-stacking and slow-bike-racing. New students signed the school’s matriculation book. Mountain Day dawned sunny and warm in mid-September—a perfect day for walking in the woods.
We invite you to hang onto that Mountain Day feeling—to stave off what Herman Melville called "the damp, drizzly November of the soul"—by keeping in touch with NMH through our website, Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter. We’re building a collection of fun videos about the school, too. As always, we welcome your feedback.
