You made this campaign—which closed June 30, 2010—the
most successful in the school's history. The final tally of this monumental effort came to $88 million and nearly
14,000 contributors.
The campaign began quietly in 2001, with the goals of raising funds for facilities and scholarships. After a change in school leadership and the consolidation of the school on one campus, the 130th Anniversary Campaign began publicly in 2006 and shifted into high gear with a kick-off in 2008. The goal: $80 million. By the campaign's end, NMH had raised more than the three previous campaigns combined (adjusted for inflation), with a total of $88,067,009.
The campaign marked more than 13 decades of NMH developing a unique educational mission: to care about the whole person and to cultivate qualities that make effective and compassionate leaders. The campaign’s success celebrates and strengthens the foundation upon which the school is built. Donors
came together to fund new
facilities on campus, new endowed funds for supporting student scholarships and faculty work, and fresh support for daily operations and special projects.
Thank you again for your interest and investment in Northfield Mount Hermon.
